Srinagar, Sept 21: Police today said a shop and a residential house were damaged in two separate fire incidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said a fire broke out in the shop of Manzoor Ahmad Ganie of Garpora village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, resulting in damage to the shop. “The blaze was brought under control with the help of fire tenders, police and locals of the area,” the spokesman said.
In another incident, the spokesman said, fire broke out in the residential house of Nisar Ahmad Bhat of Daga Kadal in Soura here. “Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders with the assistance of Police and locals of the area,” the spokesman added.
