JAMMU, July 17: A delegation of Pt. Prem Nath Shastri Sanskrtik Shodh Sansthan led by its chairman Pt. Omkar Nath Shastri called on Madan Lal Sharma, MP here today and discussed the modalities for opening of a Sanskrit and Sharda Pathshala at Muthi for which the space has been allotted by the State Government.
The delegation sought support from Mr Sharma in running the institute as has been promised by him. It informed the MP that the Sansthan has taken the step on his insistence so that the future generation is linked to its roots.
Mr Sharma assured full support to the Sansthan in running the institution.
Later in a meeting Shastri Ji stressed the need of inculcating the cultural values among the younger generation.
The meeting said that Sansthan has taken an onus to itself to work in this regard and open the pathshalas for starting Sanskrit and Sharda classes in Jammu. Shastri Ji informed the members that on the instructions of Governor, N N Vohra the State Government has allotted a community hall to the Sansthan in this regard. He, while complimenting the Governor and Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister Aijaz Ahmed Khan said the institute will go a long way in bringing the younger generation closer to its roots.
The meeting among others was attended by Jyotshi Avtar Krishan, Bushan Lal Bhat, Rajinder Kilm, Jyotshi Vimrash, Ashok Hali etc.
Meanwhile president, Samajik Vikas Sansthan and Manzgam Prabhandak Committee, Kuldeep Raina has also termed the initiative taken by Sansthan a good step and complimented Governor, Revenue Minister and Madan Lal Sharma for their efforts in this regard.
