JAMMU, June 8: A grand Shobha Yatra of Sant Kabir Das Ji Maharaj was taken out by
All J&K Megh Sabha, Old Rehari Jammu on the eve of 627th Prakash Divas of Sadguru Kabir Das Ji here today.
The Shobha Yatra was flagged off by Narinder Datt, president of the Sabha. The religious procession started from the Sabha complex at Rehari at 7 am and passed through different parts of city like Rehari Chungi, KC Chowk, Jewel Chowk and after taking U-turn and passing through Amphalla Chowk, Panjtirthi, Kacchi Chowni, Exchange Road, finally culminated at Sabha Bhawan, Old Rehari.
Thousands of people from different parts of Jammu City and adjoining areas participated in the procession. A large number of cars, bikes and other vehicles besides several Jhankis were the part of procession.
Narinder Datt, president of All J&K Megh Sabha said that due to high temperature we decided to start procession in the morning with the aim of spreading awareness regarding 627th Prakash Divas of Sadguru Kabir Das Ji Maharaj on June 11, Wednesday, 2025, which is going to be held at All J&K Megh Sabha, Rehari, Jammu.
He also appealed to people from all sections of society to participate in the program on June 11 at Sabha Bhawan. The function will start at 11.00 am onwards. Mahant Ajay Dass , Tata Nagar, Jharkhand will be the special invitee to this program.
Prominent who participated in Shobha Yatra were Ram Lal Bhagat (Chairman Advisory Board), Rajinder Bhagat (Vice-president), Amar Nath Bhagat (Cashier), Ravi Kant (State coordinator), Ashok Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Paramveer Bhagat, Vinod Kumar, Vishal Bhagat, Promila Devi, Veena Devi and others.
