JAMMU, Oct 1: Shivya Agarwal, MD Affinity by Baniya Group has been named as 2018, Young Woman Entrepreneur of the year. The award in this regard was announced by the former Dy Chief Minister and MLA Kavinder Gupta in a function held here today, who was also the chief guest on the ocassion.
While describing the Shivya Agarwal for getting the prestigious award, MLA Kavinder Gupta said that Shivya Agarwal is the most deserving woman to get this award; she is a young woman and also has the abilities to inspire other young people and women in particular to create employment for themselves.
“It is notable that her business will promote growth of an entire chain in an area that is of particular interest for the educated youth of the area. She always encourages the women to change their mindset and aim high to play a much bigger role in the regional and national economic development,” said Kavinder Gupta.
In her addressing, Shivya Agarwal said that as a woman, I feel we are thinking small. Our Governments cannot move very far without women. Let us change our mindset. Women are good at multitasking so we can manage homes as well as businesses and careers,” she added.
