JAMMU, Feb 5: Following all the guidelines issued in wake of COVID-19 pandemic, Shiv Shakti Mandir Sanstha solemnised 20th annual hawan in Mandir Complex at Sector-1, Pamposh Colony, Janipur, here.
The function was organized under the supervision of President of the Sanstha JL Bamzai and Vedic Guru Jai Krishen Khar, general secretary for the betterment of the Hindu community and world peace.
The programme commenced with Kalash Pooja, which was followed by Mahayagya, Puran Ahuti and Satsang by devotees.
A large number of people from all walks of life participated in the function to seek blessings of the Lord Shiva and Mahmaya Jagat Amba.
While speaking on the occasion, JL Bamzai, President of Shiv Shakti Mandir Sanstha and Vedic Guru JK Khar, asked the devotees to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood as this is the key for the development of country in general and Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in particular.
Among others present were Surinder Sharma, Councillor Ward No. 38 JMC, Subash Sharma, vice president of Sanstha, T S Negi, Chander Chawla, Rajinder Sharma, Anil Shishu, B J Mujoo, S K raina, A K Saproo Former President of Sanstha, O N Raina, Ashok Koul, R L Koul, Ashok Ganjoo, Raveesh, Mengi, Vijay Kumar Kohli, Bhupendra Jamwal, Lalit Luthra, R K Kalla, Mr Bhan from Sector 4 & other members of the Sanstha.
Meanwhile, the month long religious programme of Magh Mass concluded at Kumar Ji Geeta Satsnagh Ashram Muthi with solemnization of Maha Yagya today. Religious discourses were given during the entire month by Swami Kumar Ji. The devotees were also served Prashad after Puranahuti. Swami Ji also threw light on religious and historical significance of Kaw Punim (Purnima) especially for Kashmiri Pandits.
