JAMMU, July 17: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu-Kashmir unit has strongly condemned the recent heinous acts targeting a 150-year-old Hindu temple in Karachi and a rocket launcher attack on a Hindu temple in Sindh, both carried out by Pakistan.
The party demanded that the Modi Government take immediate steps to ensure the security of Hindus and temples in Pakistan and calls for the arrest and thorough interrogation of Seema Haider, who unlawfully infiltrated the Indian border.
Addressing media persons here, Manish Sahani, President of Shiv Sena, J&K, expressed concern over the declining Hindu population in Pakistan and the increasing number of attacks on Hindu temples.
He appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take a strong stance on these acts by Pakistan and engage in immediate talks with the Pakistani Government to ensure the safety of Hindus and their religious sites.
Additionally, he called for a complete severance of all relations with Pakistan and the immediate arrest and extradition of Seema Haider, who brazenly trespassed into Indian Territory using illegal means.
Emphasizing Shiv Sena’s commitment to protecting the interests and rights of Hindus and their religious freedom, Sahni stated that such reprehensible acts of cross-border infiltrations need to be dealt with decisively to set an example for others.
He urged the Modi Government to address the matter urgently and ensure the safety and security of Hindus and temples in Pakistan, while also demanding the arrest and extradition of Seema Haider.
The press conference was attended by Raj Singh, President of the Kamghar wing, and Mangu Ram.
