JAMMU, Oct 31: Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit today launched a campaign “Jammu Bachana Hai, Barbad Karne Walo Ko Sabak Sikhana Hai” with a pledge to restore Jammu’s prosperity, cultural identity and rights.
The Shiv Sainiks led by president Manish Sahni gathered at Press Club Jammu and held strong protest by holding placards regarding treachery and injustice being done with Jammu and announced that they will go door to door to make the public aware about the discrimination with Jammu region.
Sahni said that the interests of Jammu are being severely violated during the rule of those who seek public support on the voice of discrimination from Jammu division and claim that the Chief Minister will be from Jammu. “Outsiders have been placed on all important posts including the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Advisors and officials,” he alleged.
“Due to the increase in the number of non-local people in Jammu division day by day, the incidents of crime and theft have started rising,” he said.
