JAMMU, Dec 23: Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde leaders and activists met here today to discuss the outcome of Maharashtra’s recently held local body elections.
The party leaders expressed their jubilation over the Sena’s victory in local body poll in the State and gave credit to hard work of its activists under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. On the occasion they distributed sweets among the workers and raised slogans in support of Shiv Sena supremo, Eknath Shinde and party.
While addressing the gathering Ashwani Gupta, State president of the party asked activists to be ready for the upcoming local body elections in J&K as party is keen to have its presence in local bodies of UT.
Addressing the workers Sandeep Sial, State working president said the Sena activists should focus on strengthening the party by way of launching a intensive membership drive to fight the upcoming municipal and local body elections.
