JAMMU, Mar 21: Shiv Sena JK today staged a protest demonstration at R.S Pura against the rising price of fuel and cooking gas.
The protest was led by Ashwani Gupta, Shiv Sena president.
The protesters expressed concern over public sufferings due to the rising prices of household things.
Addressing protesters Shiv Sena leaders claimed that it is now an open secret that BJP Government does not believe in public welfare and is harassing the public by hiking prices of essential commodities.
They said that Central Government has to act immediately in this direction and decrease the prices of fuel and cooking gas immediately else Shiv Sena JK will come on road to protests again.
Nath Paul, working president of Shiv Sena JK; Raj Singh, general secretary; Ramesh Gupta, senior vice president; Raju Salaria, vice president cum spokesman, Rakesh Kak, Vipin Hindu, Sanjeev Kumar, Mangu Ram, Jarnail Singh, Pawan Manhas, Mamta Devi and others were also present in the protest.
