JAMMU, July 7: Shiv Sena J&K team held a protest at Bari Brahmana under leadership of its president Ashwani Gupta against PHE and PDD for power curtailment and irregular water supply.
While addressing the protestors, Gupta also pitched for restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and criticised the both the departments concerned for providing irregular supply in this scorching heat.
Raj Singh, general secretary of the unit said that the people were facing hardships especially old age persons and children due to unavailability of proper water supply as well as paucity of electricity but the departments concerned seems unbothered about it.
Nath Pal Chowdhary, Raj Singh, Romesh Gupta, Sanjeev Kumar and Pawan Manhas were part of the protest.
