Shiv Sena for preserving Dogra identity

JAMMU, Feb 11: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K unit has appealed to the people of Duggar Pardesh especially the youth to come forward and work to keep the Duggar identity of Jammu alive.
In a protest demonstration here today Shiv Sena leader, Manish Sahni has said that they have decided to preserve the Duggar culture and identity of the region.
He said that all the people of Jammu province, be they Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jains or Muslims are 1st of all Dogras.
Sahni claimed that under a well designed conspiracy by Kashmiri rulers, a strong attempt was made to abolish the Duggar identity of Jammu but after the scrapping of Article 370, that period has ended and there is now an opportunity to keep our culture and identity alive.
He demanded speeding up the pace of construction work on Duggar Museum at Bantalab area of Jammu.
On this occasion over 300 youths joined Shiv Sena.
Shiv Sena Women Wing President, Meenakshi Chibber; Working President, Ashwani Gupta; General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi; G.I Singh, Vice President; Harsh Kumar Gupta, Vikas Dewan, Bhuri Singh, Sanjeev Soodan, Champa Devi, Shaptan Singh were also present on the occasion.
