Shiv Sena, Dogra Front, others stage protest against Pakistan

JAMMU, Oct 6: Shiv Sena, Dogra Front and various other organizations held strong protest demonstration against the Pakistan for killing five innocent civilians and causing injuries to nearly 30 others during ceasefire violations along the International Border in Arnia area of  RS Pura sector today.
A large number of activists of Shiv Sena and Dogra Front under the leadership of Ashok Gupta assembled in the old city area here and held strong protest demonstration against the Pakistani authorities. The activists of the both the organizations shouted slogans against Pakistan and its Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief and also burnt Pakistani flag. They demanded that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi must give befitting reply to the Pakistan. They pointed out that Pakistani troops continued to violate the ceasefire by shelling and firing upon 25 Border Out Posts and 19 villages along the International Border in Jammu sector.
Mr Gupta condemned the ceasefire violations by Pakistan across the International Border in Jammu  and Kashmir at the time when both the countries  are celebrating Eid festival. It is most unfortunate that firing is from Pakistani side  and Government of India is keeping silent, sensing more trouble from that side. Instead of showing sympathy with the flood and rain affected people, the Pakistan is resorting to such acts, he maintained.
The Sena leader said that now it is up to Prime Minister to show his 54 inch chest to the Pakistan so that it can mend its ways. Pakistan is talking with the separatists and also talking with the Government of India. It is better to teach it the lesson through the language it understands. Raj Singh, Birbal, Vivek, Parshotam and Raj Kumar also   addressed.
Shiv Sena Hindustan also staged protest and burnt effigy of Pakistani Government for the killing of five innocent persons and causing injuries to over 30 others. State president of the organization, Rajesh Kesri, and Sena activists burnt the effigy of Pakistan and warned that Pakistani Army should remain within its limits.  He said Pakistani troops have caused massive death and destruction in Arnia area  and the people have started migrating to safer areas. The Sena leader urged upon the Union Government to tough its stand against Pakistani authorities.  Vikrant Kapoor, Raj Kumar Bassan and Binni Mahajan also attended the programme.
Reports from Bishnah, Arnia and R S Pura said that people held protest demonstration against the Pakistani troops for resorting to firing on the civilians. They shouted slogans against the Pakistani authorities and Nawaz Sharief and demanded that Pakistan must be taught a lesson.
Jammu West Assembly Movement activists led by Sunil Dimple also held protest at New Plot in Jammu and raised slogans against Pakistani authorities. They said that killings of innocent civilians will not be tolerated. Dimple alleged that Modi led Government was behaving soft and has failed to give appropriate response to the Pakistani troops. JWAM activists demanded that Indian troops must give appropriate response to the Pakistani Rangers.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leaders including MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLA Ashok Khajuria, Dr Nirmal Singh, Shamsher Singh Manhas, Kavinder Gupta, MLA Sukhnandan Kumar, Yudhvir Sethi and others visited the Govt Medical College hospital to see the condition of the villagers from Arnia area injured in Pakistani firing today. The BJP team went through the ward and  inquired about the health condition of the firing victims.  The BJP leadership also took stock of the Medical facilities extended to the injured persons  and also assured their family members that BJP shall make every endeavor to ensure that  these persons do not suffer on account of lack of proper medical assistance. The MP directed the GMC Hospital Superintendent to provide free medicines to all the victims.
Senior Congress leaders and former Ministers Gulchain Singh Charak and R S Chib also visited GMC Hospital in the morning where injured persons hailing from Tehsil Arnia were admitted. Five villagers have been killed in the firing. These Congress leaders inquired  about the health condition of the victims and later visited the affected villages.
Mr Charak along with some BCC Bishnah members paid visit to Kothe Mahashan, Changian, Kaku- De- Kothe, Jourian and Treva. Mr Charak was shown the empty shells lying in the houses of people and also in the fields and walls damaged due to bullets. There is feeling of insecurity among the people. Mr Charak strongly condemned the incident of heavy shelling by Pak in which five innocent civilians have lost lives. He urged the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister to take appropriate measures.
Expressing grave concern over the prevailing hostile situation on the IB in R S Pura and Arnia due to Pakistani firing, PDP State vice president and Ex-MP Tarlok Singh Bajwa lambasted State Government for not providing permanent alternative safe land  to the families affected by heavy shelling in the border area. He said the people are now fed up of this situation and want a permanent solution. The PDP leader said that it was the responsibility of the Central and  the State Government to provide security and shelter to the border residents.
NPP leader Prof Bhim Singh and State BSP president Tulsi Dass Langeh along with Parkash Bharti state coordinator and others also paid visit to the affected villagers of Tehsil Arnia and condoled the death of innocent civilians. They visited Kaku-De-Kothe, Kother Mahasha, Treva and Arnia and extended their sympathy to the bereaved families. Four members of the family of one Makka Ram have been killed in Pak firing. They demanded that people from border area be provided shelter at safer places.
Meanwhile, RSS Jammu Pradesh unit has strongly condemned Pakistani firing and described this act as frustration on the part of Pakistani authorities. A spokesman from the local unit said that in view of strong reply by the Indian Prime Minister to Pakistan in UN Assembly Session and divert the attention of the people in that country, Pakistan was indulging in such acts.  He said that Indian Army was capable enough to respond in the appropriate manner.  The RSS also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of six innocent border villagers of Arnia and extended their condolences to the bereaved families.
Shri Ram Sena, State president  Rajiv Mahajan in a statement urged upon the Union Government to act strongly against Pakistan as half a dozen innocent civilians have been killed in firing from that side in Arnia sector.  Condemning the incidents of firing in Poonch and R S Pura, Mr Gupta said that such acts are not acceptable and Pakistan must be taught a lesson. He said when the people were celebrating Eid, Pakistani troops resorted to firing on innocent border people.
All India Jat Mahasabha State president Ch Manmohan Singh visited GMC Hospital today and inquired about the condition of the firing victims.  The Jat leader condemned the incidents of ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops and killing of innocent villagers last mid night in Arnia area. He said Indian Government offered help to Pakistani flood victims but the Pakistan was showering bullets on the Indians. He demanded that border people be provided safe shelters.
