JAMMU, Jan 19: In a programme here today, Manish Sahni, Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K president called it unfortunate that Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) have been forced to live the life of displaced persons in their own country for the last 35 years.
“Governments claiming to be the well-wishers of KPs have earned political gains and Bollywood made movies on them but the safe return of KPs could not be made possible,” he claimed.
Sahni said that even during the 11 years of BJP rule at the Centre, the return of KPs to Kashmir valley was not done.
He demanded that the Government should fulfill its promise of safe return of Kashmiri Pandits to the valley.
