Shiv Sena demands e-bus facility for tourist places

JAMMU, June 4: A delegation of Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit led by party’s J&K chief, Manish Sahni here today met Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jammu Smart City, Dr. Devansh Yadav and submitted him a memorandum demanding e-bus facility for the main religious places of Jammu like Tirupati temple, Har Ki Pauri, Baba Jitto Devasthan, Bawe wali Mata and areas across Tawi.
The delegation also demanded free bus service for students and elders.
Sahni said that e-bus facility should be started in areas like Gandhi Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Chhanni Himmat, Sainik Colony and Greater Kailash.
He said that a demand has also been made to extend the bus route of Shahidi Stambh near Baghe-e-Bahu Police Station upto Tirupati Temple via Bawe Wala Temple. Still another demand was to provide free bus service to students and elders like women.
Dr. Devansh Yadav assured to provide the relief in this regard soon.
Senior vice president Sanjeev Kumar and Balwant Singh were also present on this occasion.
