JAMMU, Nov 5: Shiv Sena (UBT), J&K unit has demanded 80 per cent reservation for local youths in private sector.
In a press conference here today Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni said that legal action and financial penalties should be imposed on non-compliant companies.
He also demanded hike in wages for protesting ASHA Workers and regularization of daily wagers working in various departments of J&K Government and expressed concerns over the rising unemployment, terrorism and narco-terrorism in J&K.
Sahni noted that abrogation of Article 370 had raised hopes for employment generation, significant investments and shifting of industrial units to J&K and claimed that after more than four years there has been little progress at grassroots level.
Through a memorandum he requested Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha to implement 80 per cent reservation rule in private sector for J&K residents.
