JAMMU, Apr 24: Obstinate attitude of the J&K Government on restoration of 4G mobile services in Jammu and Kashmir is forcing students to come on the roads. It is very difficult for students to study online in absence of 4G network.
It was expressed by Manish Sahni, President of Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray J&K Unit in a statement issued here today.
Sahni said that after making many appeals to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir with regard to the restoration of 4G services and observing no response, he today appealed the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah for restoration of the same in J&K.
He said everybody was in support of security issues, but, at the same time, there is dire need of high speed internet services because of Coronavirus outbreak, adding that apart from helping the students to study online, it will help the doctors, other frontline workers and patients to deal with the situation comfortably.
Sahni further said the 4G services will also help the general public to get the latest information, guidelines, advisories, daily updates and restrictions on COVID-19.
Secretary Raj Singh, Raju Salaria and Pawan Singh were also present on the occasion.
