JAMMU, Apr 15: Shikha Bandral, the senior leader of National Awami United Party (NAUP) today slammed the Omar Abdullah Government for misguiding voters with the fake poll promises.
In a press statement issued, she said,” It’s been six months that JKUT has got its very own Chief Minister and Government, then where did the promise of 1 lakh employments go?”
Shikha raised concern for the youth who’s been waiting for employment opportunities after qualifying big degrees.
She mentioned about the promises of 12 cylinder subsidies annually, 1 lakh employments and 200 units free electricity to every household (which is now only applicable for AAY Families) and asserted that Omar Abdullah must not forget about the promises made by his party to the innocent people of J&K.
“Though, the filling of 10,000 vacant posts has been announced by the JKUT CM, but what about the rest 90,000? It looks, the CM is not serious about the people of J&K,” she said and added that the NC Government has failed in living up to their promises made during the polls.
