JAMMU, Mar 3: A joint meeting of Sangram Sena (SS) and Dogra Liberation Front (DLF) was held here today under the chairmanship of R.K Raina, SS president and Kapil Sharma, DLF president.
Speakers in the meeting discussed shifting of slaughter house from Dogra Hall area as it is just opposite to a temple.
Speaking in the meeting R.K Raina said that location of the slaughter house hurts sentiments of Hindus living in the vicinity.
He urged the J&K Lieutenant Governor, Mayor and Municipal Commissioner Jammu to immediately facilitate shifting of the slaughter house to some other place outside of the city.
Captain R.S Langeh (retired), General Secretary, Sangram Sena; Ved Gandotra, president Freedom Fighter Association; Sudhir Padha, Chairman Divine Touch and Member Sewa Samiti; Brij Mehra, president Jammu Pragrati Manch and others were also present in the meeting.
