JAMMU, Sept 30: The Lieutenant Governor’s administration today issued an order relieving Dr Ajeet Singh from his duties as DIG Traffic Kashmir to enable him to pursue higher studies.
Dr Singh has been nominated to join the 18-month Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Public Policy and Management at the Management Development Institute (MDI), Haryana, for the academic session 2025–2027.
His relieving is effective from September 30, 2025.
Meanwhile, the Government has assigned the charge of DIG Traffic Kashmir to Sheikh Junaid Mehmood, IPS, DIG IR Kashmir.
He will hold the additional responsibility of DIG Traffic Kashmir along with his present duties.
This reshuffle comes as part of the routine administrative measures undertaken by the LG administration.
