New Alto 800 unveiled at Shaurya Motors, Gandhi Nagar on Wednesday.

JAMMU, Oct 17: Shaurya Motors Limited today launched the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 at its Gandhi Nagar Showroom. The New Alto 800 was unveiled by DGM State Bank of India A K Jain along with former MP and senior Congress leader Janak Raj Gupta, Jawahar Kaul & P K Abrol in presence of Managing Director Shaurya Motors Sneh Gupta, CEO, Vicky Mahajan and director Sahil Mahajan.
Others present on the occasion included S Kirtan Singh Bhagat, Ved Parkash, Raj Kumar Sharma, Paramjeet Singh, Naveen Nischal, Darshan Anand, Pammy Baba, Charanjit Singh, Camres David, Hussain Baksh, Ram Rakha Bhagat, S Rajinder Singh and S Mohan Singh.
Besides dignitaries staff of Shaurya Motors and large number of people were also present on the occasion. The New Alto 800 was simultaneously launched by Shaurya Motors at its Kathua Showroom. It was unveiled by DDC Kathua, Zahida Parveen.
As per a handout issued by Shaurya Motors the Maruti Suzuki was launched in Indian market in September 2000. It crossed the one million production figure in February 2008, becoming the third Maruti Suzuki model to cross the million mark in India after Maruti 800 and Maruti Omni.
Currently with over 20 lakh Altos sold in the domestic market, Alto is the world’s; largest selling small car, the handout added.
It said the New Alto 800 comes with completely refreshed and contemporary exteriors while the interiors have also been given a more utilitarian approach as well as plush feel. The New Alto comes with the best in class mileage and many safety features including driver side airbag as an option, the handout added.
