JAMMU, June 11: Accompanied by BJP Art & Culture Cell National Convenor, Dr. Mithlesh Kumar Tripathi, convener of this cell Vipin Shastri, called on Union MoS in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh at New Delhi and submitted a memorandum containing points to be taken into consideration for development of Art, Culture and promote religion tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.
The memorandum gave various suggestions and effective means to achieve the results. It focused on how to rejuvenate various Forts in Jammu and Kashmir, aware people’s about their history role of Dogra rulers, launch of Dogri Doordarshan channel,  teach  children’s Sanskrit at least up to 5th class, to develop various cultural academy,  have a cultural auditorium, have a platform for diverse artists, explore various ideas of Lama’s, monks, spiritual gurus, Mahants and religious experts for the welfare of society, focus on pilgrimage related tourism and development, tourism boards, pilgrimage boards, to generate employment, to explore Kailash Mansorwar Yatra in Bhaderwah. We can make  Bhaderwah-Doda town as world heritage site, to explore Machail Yatra in Kishtwar and creating religious circuit for Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir.
Dr. Jitendra Singh gave a patient hearing to the deputation and forwarded the memorandum to the concerned ministry for appropriate action.
National Co-Convenors Asitabh Sinha and Ravi Satija, National Working Committee Member Ravinder Singh Parihar and Jammu District Convenor Amit Gupta were members of the deputation.
