JAMMU, Dec 8: President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri has demanded allotment of separate funds for casual labours working in Irrigation and Flood Control department and others departments of the State Government in the next year State annual budget so that they get regular payment of their wages properly.
Addressing a largely attended rally of casual labours here, Shastri said that the casual labors and others are not getting their salaries in time and they had to wait for months together to receive their emoluments which is the great injustice with these poor labors.
Those who attended the rally were Rajan Babu Khajuria, Sunil Kochar, Jai Ram Sharma, Pardeep Kumar and many others.
