SRINAGAR, Jan 30: To review and monitor the plan performances of all the districts of the Valley in respect of financial and physical achievements for the current financial year a high level review meeting of officers was held under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary, Planning and Development, B. R. Sharma here today.
The meeting was attended by Director Area Planning, Director Centrally Sponsored Schemes, Deputy Commissioners and Chief Planning Officers of all Districts of the Valley, Joint Director Coordination Planning and District Evaluation and Statistical Officers of Kashmir division.
Mr. Sharma exhorted upon all the Deputy Commissioners of valley to obtain proper administrative approval and technical sanctions while implementing developmental plan and urged upon them to adhere instructions and guidelines strictly.
He also enjoined upon all the Deputy Commissioners to revisit the additional requirements under salaries especially in the health to ensure judicious utilization of funds.
On the occasion, all the Deputy Commissioners put forth various demands including release of funds so that pending liabilities of various developmental works under execution could be met out and spill over works are resumed for the benefit of people. They also demanded additional funds so that minor public issues can be redressed at district level.
