JAMMU, Nov 3: The three-day “Sharad Mahotsav” started with religious fervor and enthusiasm at the ancient and historic Panjvaktra Mahadev Mandir in Jammu.
Suresh Sharma, receiver, formally inaugurated the festival and explained that the main goal of organizing this event is to channelize the youth’s energy towards constructive purposes and provide a platform for budding and talented artists to showcase their creative talents.
Simultaneously, it is an effort to preserve and promote Indian Classical Music, an integral part of our rich Cultural Heritage, he said.
Sharma further elaborated that Sharad Mahotsav is celebrated across India at the onset of the winter season, and there are many more such festivals planned in the near future at the Panjvaktra Mandir.
