NEW DELHI, Aug 29: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the promotion of 1995 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Shailendra Kumar to the Apex Scale (Level 17 in the pay matrix).

Kumar, who has earlier served Jammu and Kashmir in key roles, including Principal Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Department and PWD, is currently posted in the cadre.
