JAMMU, Sept 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has designated 1995 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Shailendra Kumar as Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Agriculture Production Department (APD), after his promotion to the Apex Scale (Level 17 in the pay matrix) by the Government of India.

“Consequent upon promotion of Shailendra Kumar, IAS (AGMUT:1995) to the Apex Scale (Level-17 in the pay matrix), vide order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under endorsement number F No 14016/24/2024 UTS.I dated August 29, 2025 and his subsequent assumption of the charge on September 1, 2025, the officer is hereby designated as Financial Commissioner (ACS), Agriculture Production Department,” read an order issued by Dr Piyush Singla, Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
