SRINAGAR, Mar 9: Janta Dal United (JDU) J&K president, G.M Shaheen has condemned the authorities concerned for the pathetic condition of Tapper-Nambalnar road.
In a handout he said that the continued neglect of this vital road exposes government’s failure to provide even the basic infrastructure to the people.
Shaheen claimed that the road has virtually turned into a stretch of potholes and broken surface, making daily travel very tough for the residents, students, traders and patients.
“Such an administrative apathy towards public infrastructure is unacceptable and reflects government’s lack of seriousness towards grassroot developments,” he maintained adding: “If the Government truly talks about building Naya Kashmir, it must first ensure that basic roads like Tapper-Nambalnar are properly constructed and maintained.”
Shaheen demanded that the Government should immediately sanction and start the complete reconstruction of Tapper-Nambalnar road on priority.
