JAMMU, Nov 9: All J&K Shree Guru Ravidass Sabha (SGRDS) will celebrate 649th Parkash Utsav of Sant Shiromani Shree Guru Ravidass Maharaj in February with great pomp and show.
This was disclosed by members of the adhoc working committee of the Sabha while addressing a press conference, here today. The members informed that the Shoba Yatra will be organized on January 28. The Yatra shall start form Sabha headquarter Krishna Nagar and culminate at Branch GRDS Bahu Fort. Similarly, Paraksh Utsav shall be celebrated on 1st February at headquarter Krishna Nagar, Jammu.
Earlier, the newly renovated office of the Sabha was inaugurated by the octogenarian members of the Biradri and they were honoured on the occasion. In the end, it was pledged by the adhoc working committee of the Sabha and the prominent members of the Biradri and advisory committee of the Sabha that no stone shall remain unturned by the present committee for overall development of the Sabha premises, Biradri and youth.
Prominent members present on the occasion were CL Banal, T C Bavouria, Surjeet Heer, Kuldeep, Tarsem Loach, Tulsi Dass Langeh, Ram Pal Singh, Sham Kalsi, M R Bangotra, Paras Ram, D D Thapa, Paras Ram Angral, Joginder Paul, Surinder Dewgowda, Des Raj, Madan Lal Bangotra, Krishna Bangotra, Sunita Devi, Priya Devi, Bimla Devi, Rani Devi, Renu Devi, Bhavna Devi, Koushal Kumar, ML Banalia, KK Gorka, Gourav Ravidasia, Ravinder Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Madan Lal, Dev Raj Thapa, Sunil Rana and Sham Lal Kalsi.
