Srinagar, Apr 4: Police today arrested a house owner whose house was being used for running a sex racket that was busted by the Srinagar Police yesterday.
The SSP Srinagar Rakesh Balwal said that they arrested Altaf Hussain Afaki son of Asadullah Afaki of Chanpora whose house was used for immoral activities. He said that the process to attach his house is on.
It may be mentioned here that Srinagar police yesterday busted a sex racket in Baghi Mehtab area of Srinagar.
It was busted on the basis of a specific information and two persons Irshad Ahmad Bhat son of Shaban Bhat of Kadalbal Pampore and Mohammad Shafi Hajam son of Abdul Qayoom Hajam of Karim Abad of Pulwama who were running it were arrested.
Police had also detained 4 sex workers and 2 customers of Srinagar. The racket was run from rented house owned by one Afaki.
