SRINAGAR, Mar 9: Ethiram-e-Walidien” programme was organized by Sewa Bharti J&K and Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of India at Sidiq Memorial Educational Institute, Ganderbal, highlighting the importance of respect and love for parents.
The speakers on the occasion highlighted the objective of Sewa Bharti which is wedded to service of mankind irrespective caste, creed, religion and region.
They also highlighted the value of family and said that a strong and united family can make a strong nation. The speakers urged the children to imbibe the good moral values among themselves and make their parents to feel proud of them.
They said the parents are the God’s great gift for a child and children should always be obedient to their parents and act upon their advice. They should also work for the welfare of the society as a whole.
Gulzar Ahmad, SHO Police Station, Kheerbhawani, Ganderbal was the chief guest on the occasion. Bilal Bhat social activist,Jahangir Ahmad, Mumtaza madam, Muzafar Ahmad. Mehraj ud Din and Parveez Ahmad Mir also spoke on the occasion.
