REASI, Feb 8: Around 70 BJP workers from Kouri village joined the Indian National Congress (INC) today.
The joining programme organized under the leadership of IYC National president Uday Bhanu Chib, IYC National incharge Munish Sharma and under the direction of JKPCC president Tariq Hameed Karra, was held in the presence of J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) State secretary Karandeep Singh.
The event witnessed the participation of several former PRI members, senior political activists, and enthusiastic young people who expressed their faith in the ideology and vision of the Congress Party.
Prominent individuals who joined the Congress Party included Om Prakash Sharma, Naib Sarpanch Suram Singh, Vishal Sharma, Sushil Thakur, Bharat Busham Sharma, Bhuri Singh, Dhatta Ram, Vishwa Nath, Prabhu Dhyal Sharma, Ravi Kumar, Indir Kumar, Naresh Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Om Parkash, Shiv Dass, Munshi Ram, Karan Sharma, and Heem Raj, along with several local residents and young supporters.
Addressing the gathering, Karandeep Singh warmly welcomed the new members into the Congress family and said that the growing support from grassroots workers reflects the increasing trust of the people in the party’s policies, leadership, and vision for an inclusive and progressive society.
