SRINAGAR, Mar 26: Apni Party president Altaf Bukhari and several other senior leaders on Thursday extended a warm welcome to a group of political activists and workers into the party fold.
The new members belong to various areas of the Lal Chowk constituency. They formally joined the party during a function held at the party headquarters in Srinagar.
Besides Bukhari, the prominent leaders present on the occasion included the party’s Provincial president, Mohammed Ashraf Mir; party chief spokesperson, Muntazir Mohiuddin; District president Srinagar, Mohammad Shafi Mir; and others.
The new entrants included Irshad Ahmad, Shameem Ahmed Badari, Umer Haneef, Mushtaq Ahmed Mir, Mukhtar Nayak, Farooq Ahmed, Tariq Ahmad Mir and others.
