JAMMU, May 10: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has placed several District and Sessions Judges in Super Time and Selection Time Scales of the J&K Higher Judicial Service retrospectively. Similarly, 20 former District and Sessions Judges have been placed in these scales.
As per the order issued by Registrar General, 13 District and Sessions Judges have been placed in the Super Time Scale of the J&K Higher Judicial Service retrospectively. They are Bala Jyoti, Sanjay Parihar, Shahzad Azeem, Yash Pal Bourney, Jaffer Hussain Beg, Ashok Kumar, Mohd Ashraf Malik, Ravinder Nath Wattal, Mohinder Kumar Sharma, Jeema Bashir, Jawad Ahmad, Haq Nawaz Zargar and Tahir Khursheed Raina.
According to another order, 30 District and Sessions Judges have been placed in the Selection Time Scale of J&K Higher Judicial Service retrospectively.
They are Mohd Ashraf Malik, Ravinder Nath Wattal, Mohinder Kumar Sharma, Jeema Bashir, Jawad Ahmed, Haq Nawaz Zargar, Tahir Khursheed Raina, Shazia Tabassum, Tasleem Arief, Sonia Gupta, Rajinder Saproo, Naseer Ahmad Dar, Kalpana Revo, S C Kattal, Jatinder Singh Jamwal, Virender Singh Bhou, Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, Rajeev Gupta, Chain Lal Bavoria, Rupali Ratta, Ritesh Kumar Dubey, Mehmood Ahmad Choudhary, Kamlesh Pandita, Ranbir Singh Jasrotia, Mirza Riyaz-ul-Haq, Masarat Roohi, Balbir Lal, Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Kusum Lata Pandita and Aijaz Ahmed Khan.

Moreover, High Court has accorded sanction to the placement of Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani (the then District and Sessions Judge) in the Super Time Scale of J&K Higher Judicial Service retrospectively.
Former District and Sessions Judges namely Kikar Singh Parihar, Aijaz Ahmad Mir, Abdul Rashid Malik, Inder Singh, Kishore Kumar, Shujat Ali Khan, Pawan Dev Kotwal, Nighat Sultana and Yash Pal Kotwal have been placed in the Super Time Scale retrospectively.
Likewise, former District and Sessions Judges—-Mohd Ibrahim Wani, Sham Lal Lalhal, Kossar Ahmad Qureshi, Parvez Hussain Kachroo, Zubair Ahmad Raza, Madan Lal, Yash Pal Kotwal, Sobha Ram Gandhi, Suneet Gupta and Sarfaraz Hussain Shah have been placed in the Selection Time Scale of J&K Higher Judicial Service retrospectively.
