JAMMU, Dec 4: As a part of his ongoing commitment to fostering comprehensive development, Yudhvir Sethi, MLA East constituency, today initiated development works worth Rs 35 lakhs in Panjtirthi area, Ward No. 1 of Jammu city.
Speaking on the occasion, Sethi underscored the importance of equitable development across all wards of the constituency.
He emphasized that the developmental push reflects the aspirations of the people and his resolve to prioritize their welfare.
“Under the regime of Modi government, development is not just about infrastructure; it is about improving lives and providing the residents with facilities that meet modern-day standards,” he said.
Highlighting the projects already undertaken in East constituency, Sethi outlined a roadmap for future initiatives focused on beautification, road upgrades, and the strengthening of basic amenities.
He reaffirmed his commitment to transparency and inclusivity in the decision-making process, assuring that funds will be utilized judiciously for the maximum benefit of the people.
The people of area also apprised the MLA about shortage of water supply.
Sethi asked Rajesh Gupta, Executive Engineer PHE and AEE Sahil Arora to look into the matter and take adequate measures in addressing the genuine demands of the general public on priority.
He assured the locals that the issue regarding water supply will be resolved on priority basis.
