JAMMU, Sept 20: Ahead of the festival season with auspicious days like Navratras and Karwa Chouth, Sethi Embroidery here today introduced a new collection at their stores in Jammu.
Founded by the Entrepreneur Akshay Sethi, ‘Sethi Embroidery’ has emerged as one of Jammu’s most distinctive names in the world of handicrafts and fashion.
“Journey of Sethi Embroidery is deeply rooted in resilience and tradition. Originally established in 1957 from Lal Chowk, Kashmir, the brand was first known as Sethi Brothers. However, the turbulent years of rising militancy in the Valley forced the family to shift base to Jammu,” a handout stated adding: “Today, Sethi Embroidery operates from its showrooms in Gandhi Nagar and Channi Himmat and Jammu, offering a wide range of authentic Kashmiri embroidered garments and luxury handicrafts. They are specialists in Kashmiri Pheran, Shawls, Kaftaan, Sarees, Cordset, Purses and many other decorative items.
Under Akshay’s leadership, the brand emphasizes quality over quantity, ensuring every piece reflects the timeless elegance of Kashmiri culture.
