JAMMU, Aug 2: Strongly condemning the vested elements spreading rumours on political situation of Jammu and Kashmir, State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today asked people of State not to believe in such misleading statements which are being deliberately made to create fear amongst masses for political gains.
Chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi said in press release that there is absolutely no reason for public to panic and afraid as Government both State as well as Central are working round the clock to provide development to the State and to take away the worries and grievances of the masses created by successive corrupt regimes.
He said that corrupt politicians are worried about being caught by long hands of law and exposure of their misdeeds and in order to divert attention of public and to derail the investigations in their misdeeds they are trying to create fear and lawlessness but they won’t succeed and will be brought to book.
Sunil Sethi noted that since the imposition of Governor rule and subsequently President rule in the State, the masses are witnessing corruption free governance and overall development and are satisfied with Central rule in the State. Many pending projects have been cleared and rest are underway. It’s now time for State to usher in new era.
Chief spokesperson called upon people belonging to all religions to maintain brotherhood and communal harmony in the wake of nefarious designs of vested elements to vitiate the peace in the State. He asked Government to take strictest possible action against mischief mongers and rumour spreaders.
