JAMMU, Nov 21: Wushu Association of J&K conducted selected teams for 30th Senior National and Sub-Junior National Wushu Championships which are scheduled to be held at Police Academy Bhopal (MP) from December 4 to 10 and Kolkata from January 27 to February 1, 2022 respectively.
The selection trials were held at J&K Sports Council’s Indoor Hall Bhagwati Nagar, here wherein 250 participants from 14 districts participated.
The trials were conducted by the selection committee, headed by Kuldeep Handoo as chairman while Maqsood Rather, Kamal Kishore, Ajaz Hassan, Yash Pal, Faisal Ali, Nissar Mir and Lalit Singh were the members of the committee and Ajay Paul Gill and Ashi Jamwal were deputed as observers from the J&K Sports Council.
Vijay Saraf, president of the Association congratulated all the players for their selection in both the championships and wished them best of luck for the events.
The Association also thanked Secretary, Nuzhat Gul, Divisional Sports Officer, Ashok Singh and Manager Indoor Stadium, Vikas for providing all facilities during the selection trials.
