KATRA, June 1: Senior Citizens Welfare Forum Katra has contributed Rs 20 thousands towards PM’s Care Fund.
The Forum members, led by President Shiv Kumar Sharma, handed over a cheque of Rs 20 thousands to Charandeep Singh, Deputy Commissioner Reasi at PWD Guest House, Katra, here today.
The Forum members, who accompanied Shiv Kumar Sharma, included Om Parkash Magotra, Ashok Kumar Verma, rattan Chand, Babu Ram Sharma and others.
Last year also, a similar contribution of Rs 51,000 was made by the Forum. In addition to these, the Forum has also contributed Rs 21,000 towards rehabilitation of Hindus who suffered in the recent violence in West Bengal.
