JAMMU, Dec 2: The School Education Department (SED) of the Jammu and Kashmir Government has constituted a committee to draft a transparent and uniform transfer policy for Regularized Rehbar-e-Taleem (RReT) teachers across the Union Territory.

As per an order, the panel will be headed by the Special Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, with senior officers from the department, representing both Jammu and Kashmir divisions, as Members and Member Secretary.
The committee has been tasked with studying the existing transfer norms, proposing a fair and efficient student-centric policy, and examining the feasibility of periodic transfers, hardship postings, and tenure-based placements for RReT teachers.
The committee has been given two months to submit a detailed report along with the draft transfer policy.
