Secy J&K Assembly attends conference in Bihar

Jammu, Jan 22: Manoj Kumar Pandita Secretary, J&K Legislative Assembly attended 61 st Conference of Secretaries of Legislative Bodies in India , at Patna Bihar which was presided over by Secretary General Lok Sabha Utpal Kumar Singh .
The Conference brought together the Secretaries of Legislative Assemblies and Legislative Councils to share their experiences of Parliamentary Democracy and issues confronting while discharging their duties.
The discussions were held on the subject Adoption of Modern Technologies in Legislative Bodies for greater efficiency, effectiveness and Productivity. During discussions, Pandita spoke on the initiatives taken by the Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of J&K Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather. He mentioned in the meeting about the 3 days Orientation Programme recently held at Jammu for newly elected Legislators.
The initiative has been appreciated through out India.Secretaries of other states in which elections have been held recently i.e Haryana and Maharashtra also attended the meeting and decided to hold such type of conferences in their respective States.
Pandita discussed with Secretary Legislative Council Bihar Akhilesh Kumar Jha about implementation of National e -Vidhan Application (NeVA) in Bihar Legislative Council.
