JAMMU, Feb 12: A joint meeting of School Education Department and Clerical Cadre Association was held here today to elect the Provincial Body of School Education Clerical Cadre Association (SECCA).
The meeting was chaired by Babu Hussain Malik, State President Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association where Naresh Kumar, Vice President of the Association was also present.
In the meeting Ansuia Gupta was elected as President of SECCA while Ashok Dhar was elected as Vice President.
Other office bearers elected on this occasion included Mohd Farooq Bajran elected as General Secretary, Dinesh Gupta as Chief Advisor, Liaqat Ali as Advisor, Sham Prashad as Spokesperson, Surinder Raina as Press Secretary, Prem Lata and Tahira Yasmin as Secretaries, Rajesh Kumar as Organizer, Ganesh Sharma as Cashier, Vinod Kalotra as Publicity Secretary and Nitin Raina as Joint Secretary.
After the meeting the newly elected body met Personnel Officer Rajeev Kumar Khajuria and discussed burning issues of clerical fraternity of School Education Department. These issues included timely DPC and career progression in School Education Department.
After this a provincial body of Clerical Association, School Education Department Jammu was also formed.
On this occasion Association members highlighted various issues like conducting of DPC, conversion of 4522 non-teaching posts to RRET Teachers, creation of posts in 44 hanging zones, detachment of teachers from various offices etc.
