JAMMU, Mar 2: The State Election Commissioner (SEC) has convened a high level meeting here tomorrow to discuss the revision of the Panchayat electoral rolls and review the status of delimitation of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
Newly appointed SEC Shantmanu, will chair the meeting. This will be his first such meeting as the SEC.
The meeting is expected to be attended by the Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj; the Deputy Commissioner, Jammu; the Director, Rural Development Department, Jammu; and the Director, Panchayati Raj, J&K.
All Deputy Commissioners of the other 19 districts, along with concerned officials, have been directed to participate through video link.
