Searches in Kishtwar, Rajouri

JAMMU, Dec 19: Security forces today launched massive search operation in Chatroo area of Kishtwar district to hunt down the suspected terrorists.

Army, police, SOG and paramilitary forces launched the operation in Chatroo this morning after getting information about suspected movement of the terrorists.
However, no contact has been established by the security forces with the terrorists so far, the reports said.
Security forces also launched an extensive search operation in different villages of Rajouri after reports of the movement of suspicious people in the district.
The operation, which was launched around midnight on Thursday, is continuing, the reports said.
Security forces received reports of suspicious movement in some villages located between the Thannamandi and Manjakote subdivisions of Rajouri district.
Acting on the reports, joint teams of the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Special Operations Group cordoned off the area during the midnight hours.
The operation was resumed with the first light of day, with aggressive searches underway in areas including Behrote Gali.
