DODA, Nov 11: A massive surprise inspection and search operation was carried today at District Jail Doda, located in Bhaderwah.

The joint exercise was conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Police and jail authorities.
According to official sources, the teams comprising Police and CAPF personnel – with assistance from jail authorities – carried out a thorough inspection inside the jail premises to detect any suspicious activity or material. The jail currently houses several individuals booked or arrested in terror-related cases.
An area domination operation was also conducted in the periphery of the jail to ensure external security and to rule out any possible external linkages or threats.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the last 72 hours, security forces have intensified their operations across Jammu and Kashmir as part of a larger crackdown on the terror ecosystem.
Multiple raids have been carried out at the residences of terror sympathizers, Over Ground Workers (OGWs), and associates of local terrorist modules operating from across the Line of Control (LoC).
Authorities said such measures are part of a sustained campaign aimed at curbing terrorism and its support networks within the Union Territory.
Meanwhile, police in Rajouri district have intensified their action against suspected terror operatives, launching a large-scale operation across multiple areas over the past few days. On Tuesday, police teams swung into action and detained around 15 suspects from different locations including Thannamandi, Darhal, Manjakot, Kalakot, Budhal, Palma, and other adjoining areas of the district.
According to police sources, those detained include OGWs assisting terrorist groups, surrendered terrorists and individuals previously arrested and later released. All the suspects are currently being interrogated as part of an intensified effort to trace any renewed terror network in the region.
Security forces in Rajouri have also enhanced vigilance and area domination, with special focus on sensitive and vulnerable locations.
