POONCH, July 4: The newly elected president of Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Satish Sassan along with 10 other members took oath of the office in a jam packed hall, here today.
Ten members who took oath were Ramesh Bali, Jeetan Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Sanjeev Kapoor, Dev Raj, Satish Kumar, Ajay Uttam, Pt Bhagat Raj Bali, Devinder Sharma and Bhopinder Singh.
The oath taking ceremony was held at Shree Geeta Bhawan Poonch where Shri Mahaveer, National Organising Secretary, VHP, was the chief guest while Sajjad Ahmed Khan, Deputy Commissioner Poonch and Prof S D Sharma, president, Adhoc Committee, SDS Poonch, were the guests of honour.
The function was also attended by Shamsheer Hussain, SP Poonch, ADDC Poonch, Arvind Sharma, DSP Headquarters, Ashok Bhagat, CEO, Poonch Development Authority.
