JAMMU, Apr 12: On the auspicious occasion Hanuman Jayanti, the idol of Lord Ram’s devotee Hanuman was installed today at the Central Office of Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SDS) Jammu Kashmir Province, Geeta Bhawan Parade, here.
Earlier in the morning, the Havan Yagya was performed with the chanting of mantras by the president of Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SDS), Parshotam Dadhichi, general secretary, Sanjay Gupta, treasurer, Anil Kumar Magotra, former Mayors of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Rajinder Sharma, and Chander Mohan Gupta, former Deputy Mayors , Purnima Sharma, and Baldev Singh Billawaria, former president of Khshatriya Rajput Sabha, Thakur Narayan Singh, former corporator, Anil Masoom and the office bearers and members of Sabha including A.R.Sagar , Dilip Gupta, Ashok Mahajan, Dr. Sanjay Kaushal, Sanjay Kaul, Vijay Sharma, Ashutosh, Manav Mahajan, Hitesh Malhotra, Ajay Khajuria, Dr.Vijay Laxmi, Anu Gupta, and many other prominent citizens.
On this occasion, the president of the Sabha, Parshotam Dadhichi urged everyone to follow the life of Lord Rama’s devotee Hanuman Ji. He said that the way Hanuman Ji did every task with full dedication as one of Lord Rama’s best devotees during his exile, the result of the same is that today there are not the temples of Lord Rama’s sons Luv and Kush in the country but temples of his devotee Hanuman Ji are found everywhere.
On this occasion, he declared Manav Mahajan as the Media in-charge of SDS and Hitesh Malhotra as the convener of its Youth Wing i.e. Mahavir Dal. He expressed the hope that all these workers will continue to work for the upliftment and protection of Sanatan life values. He again appealed to the whole society, especially the youth of this country, to contribute to the service of the society with sacrifice, selflessness and complete dedication like Hanuman Ji. The idol installation ceremony concluded with the distribution of Prasad.
