JAMMU, Jan 19: 13th Annual Raising Day of 2nd Bn of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) was celebrated today at SDRF 2nd Bn. Hqrs, Gulshan Ground Jammu.
Nalin Prabhat, Director General of Police, J&K UT, was the chief guest of the occasion. He congratulated all officers and officials of SDRF J&K on the occasion of Raising Day and praised the role and assistance extended by all officers and men from SDRF during the past one year.
During the event, Vijay Kumar, Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF J&K, highlighted the achievement and role of SDRF personnel. He also expressed the future plans of the organization so that SDRF could perform efficiently while performing their duties at the time of any exigency.
M K Sinha, ADGP Hqrs; S Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu Zone; Nitish Kumar, ADGP CID J&K; Bhim Sen Tuti, IGP PHQ; Sunil Gupta, IGP Crime J&K; Surjit Kumar, IGP Security J&K; Vivek Gupta, IGP Railways J&K and other senior Officers of J&K Police were also present on the occasion.
