SDPO stresses for following SOPs to contain spread of COVID

JAMMU, Dec 20: Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) East Sajad Sarwar stressed for following the SOPs to contain the spread of COVID pandemic.
He said this during a meeting with Shiv Market Association and Mangal Market shopkeepers at Shiv Market here today organised by Police Station Bahu Fort.
A threadbare discussion took place about eradication of drugs and other crime related issues.
SDPO East Sajad Sarwar also briefed them to aware the people of their respective areas to maintain social distancing and wear face masks during travelling and follow COVID SOPs. Other important issues discussed were regarding illegal mining, theft cases, illicit liquor and various other important issues such as problems related to water, electricity, road, school etc. concerning civil departments.
SDPO flanked by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali gave a patient hearing to the public and assured them that their grievances would be referred to higher authorities and the issues raised would be taken up. They also encouraged the people to come forward in sharing information related to crime in their area.
The participants assured their full cooperation to police.
In the end, SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali presented vote of thanks.
