JAMMU, Sept 26: Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) RS Pura Gurmeet Singh today delivered lecture against drugs at Government Degree College (GDC), RS Pura.
Singh laid emphasis on vigilance among the students against the use of drugs saying it could spoil career and lives of the youth.
He said if any student finds suspicious activities in and around the college pertaining to use or sale of drugs, he should immediately inform police.
“The students should set good example for others,” the police officer said.
He also apprised the students about violations of Motor Vehicles Act and called upon them to always wear helmets while driving or travelling on bikes and follow other rules of traffic which he explained in detail.
