The officer had also sought registration of an FIR.
Subsequently, the JKAS Officers’ Association wrote to the Divisional Commissioner Jammu, demanding disciplinary action against the accused officer.
Acting on the representation, the Divisional Commissioner forwarded a letter to the IGP Jammu Zone, recommending appropriate action, following which the transfer order was issued.
